Rosa Manaog Baya

Mrs. Rosa Manaog Baya, age 84, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on October 11, 1941 in the Philippines. She was raised and schooled in the Philippines. On May 28, 1961, she was united in marriage to Teodulo Baya in the Philippines. This happy union of 64 years was blessed with eight children, Lolita, Melencio, Mamerto, Evelyn, Gliceria, Marifa, Jovito, and Salome. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Rosa was a homemaker all of her life, raising her large family. She came to the United States in 2005 and settled in Madison. She enjoyed cooking and being a grandma. Rosa died on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at 9:26 am at the Norton King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

A LOVING FAMILY Rosa will be missed by her loving husband of 64 years, Teodulo Baya of Philippines; her daughters, Lolita Baya of Philippines, Evelyn Jett and her husband, Tance of Madison, Indiana, Gliceria Scroggins and her husband, Mike of Madison, Indiana, Marifa Hashimoto of Japan, Salome Baya and her fiancee, Frandy Husayan of Madison, Indiana; her sons, Melencio Baya and his wife, Merly of Philippines, Mamerto Baya and his wife, Marites of Philippines, Jovito Baya and his wife, Rissa of Philippines; her grandchildren, Merdai, Melissa, Melody, Mermel, Marvin, Milka, Mark, Ben, Izabela, Jasper, Jacob, Raven, Sky, and Heaven; her great-grandchildren, Mheil, Elisse, Melo, and Migo; and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Arturo Manaog, her sister, Rosalita Manaog.

ROSA'S WISHESCremation was chosen and she will be laid to rest in the Philippines.
