Mrs. Doris Lee Holt Konkle, age 85, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on Nov. 17, 1924, in Jefferson County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Charles Dewey & Jessie Buchanan Holt. She resided most of her life in Jefferson County and was a graduate of Central High School. She was a member of the Hebron Baptist Church. She was united in marriage to Ralph E. Konkle and to this union arrived one son to bless their home. She had worked earlier in life at Meese Manufacturing and U.S. Shoe Company. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, baking and raising flowers. Doris Lee died Friday, February 5, 2010 at 12:03 p.m. at the Hanover Health & Rehab Center in Hanover, Indiana.

Doris Lee will be missed by her loving son: Ronald Konkle & his wife: Doris of Madison, Indiana; her loving granddaughters: Jessica Brawner & her husband: Davey of Madison, Indiana and Paula Hensler & her husband: Chuck of Madison, Indiana; her great grandchildren: Clay & Seth Brawner and Megg Hensler; her loving sister: Norma Dean Heitz & her husband: Bernard of Madison, Indiana; her loving brothers: Charles Vincent "Bud" Holt of Madison, Indiana, William "Billy" Holt & his wife: Pat of Madison, Indiana; several nieces, nephews & other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents: Charles Dewey & Jessie Buchanan Holt; her husband: Ralph E. Konkle died: Aug. 11, 1977; her sister: Anna Margaret Holton; her great grandson: Brok Daniel Konkle Hensler died: October 29, 2002.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at 1:00 p.m., by Pastor Ed Roberts at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Hebron Cemetery near Madison, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may call Monday from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
