Ms. Linda Carol Cummins, age 58, of Madison, Indiana, entered this life on September 19, 1951 in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was the daughter of Raymond & Liberty N. Kubick Cummins. She was raised in Union Mills & Westville, Indiana. She was a 1969, graduate of Westville High School. She resided for several years in Elk Grove near Chicago. She moved to Madison in 1996 and became very involved in the community. Linda was employed with Star Quality Awards in Madison since 1996. Her customers appreciated her attention to detail and the fine work she displayed in their orders. She also worked at J.C. Penney's in the catalog department for twelve years. She was a faithful member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Madison, where she was very active and served as vice president of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League & Guild. Linda chaired the Board of Evangelism at Faith Lutheran and served as Secretary of the Church Council. She also spearheaded the Angel Tree Project of the Church as well. Linda enjoyed taking care of the crafts and remembrances in the Church. Linda was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on Dec. 20, 2009 and fought a courageous battle against the disease. Linda will be greatly missed by her loving family, her church family and her many friends in the community. Linda died Friday, January 29, 2010 at 3:10 p.m. at the King's Daughters' Hospital in Madison, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father: Raymond Cummins died: Nov. 1, 1997; her mother: Liberty N. Kubick Cummins died: Nov. 20, 2006.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 31, 2010 at 7:00 p.m., by Reverend Jeff Pflug at the Faith Lutheran Church, 3024 North Michigan Road in Madison, Indiana. Graveside services will be conducted at the Union Mills Cemetery in LaPorte County, Indiana on Monday, February 1, 2010 at 12 Noon (Central Standard Time). A luncheon will follow at the Satellite Inn in Union Mills, Indiana

Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until time of the service at the Faith Lutheran Church, 3024 North Michigan Road in Madison, Indiana.
